Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have system administration experience with Microsoft servers
high volume storage solutions
and Cisco routers and switches
A TS/SCI w/ poly is required
5+ years of experience
or a Master's and 3+ years of experience
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2
Server 2016
and Server 2019
Experience Performing Systems Administration Functions With PowerShell
Ability to work both independently and with others while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work frequently with users in a friendly and professional way
Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and CIFS
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Work performed will be 100% on-site in a secure environment
Knowledge of storage solutions such as SAN/NAS technologies
CompTIA Network+ Cisco Certified Network Associate

Responsibilities:
In this specialized role
you will support day-to-day operations in a unique and critical infrastructure
Participate in the design & implementation of new systems infrastructure
Install and configure hardware and software components
Monitor system health and performance to meet program requirements and minimize down time
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Provide technical insights to other team members
Participate in project planning & execution
ensuring timely delivery of projects
Perform system upgrades and patches
Interface frequently with users on a daily basis and respond to emergent needs
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Manage user accounts and access controls
Develop and maintain standard operational procedures and system documentation
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies
industry trends
& best practices
Must be mission oriented
Position will require on-call rotation for after hours/weekend support
