Senior Product Manager, SMB e-commerce Growth

Photoroom

Location: Paris

About us

Founded in 2019 and part of Y Combinator's 2020 cohort, Photoroom is the leading visual solution for e-commerce.

We've raised Series B funding and reached 300+ million users worldwide, processing over 5 billion images annually and serving both small businesses and major enterprises like Amazon, DoorDash, and Decathlon through our mobile app, web platform, and API.

We're a team of 100+ passionate builders giving e-commerce businesses superpowers to create visuals that help them grow, making the hardest parts of selling online disappear. We focus on craft, innovation, and collaboration to create exceptional impact for e-commerce businesses worldwide.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, SMB E-commerce Growth to own activation, monetization, and retention for our SMB e-commerce segment across the Photoroom mobile and web apps. This is a growth role: you'll own the levers that turn sign-ups into retained subscribers, and the growth-led features that move them. From paywalls to pricing experiments and onboarding and discovery flows, you'll partner closely with User Acquisition on the handoff from paid to product, and with the core SMB product team on what gets built next.

Location: Paris, we offer relocation support

About the role

  • Own a real slice of the growth funnel. Activation, paywall, pricing, or retention: you'll lead a squad and own a specific number end-to-end, deciding what gets tested, what gets built, and what gets killed.

  • Move the metric, not just the backlog. Run a high-velocity experimentation program across web and mobile funnels. Ship A/B tests weekly, and bigger feature bets when the data calls for them.

  • Find the insight, then build the feature. The best growth work is spotting why users drop off and shipping the change that fixes it. You'll do both.

  • Work across web and mobile. Mobile and web funnels behave differently (App Store vs. card-on-file, push vs. email). You'll own both, and partner closely with the User Acquisition team on the handoff from paid to product.

  • Use data to decide, not to justify. Pull and interpret data yourself, form hypotheses, measure what shipped, and call what's next. You won't need to wait around for someone else to run the query.

About You

  • You've moved real numbers on a subscription product. Five to eight years as a PM, with concrete activation, monetization, or retention wins you can name with the KPI, the change, and the percentage impact, owned by you, not by a team you sat on.

  • You've worked on something with recurring revenue. Whether B2B SaaS, B2C subscription, or B2B2C, as long as your work was tied directly to revenue your experience will give you a leg up. Pure marketplace or pure free-product backgrounds will struggle here.

  • You know how SMB sellers buy. You understand how SMB e-commerce sellers discover, evaluate, and adopt utility SaaS, the kind of motion behind Shopify, Canva, Klaviyo, Stripe, Klarna, Gorgias, Recharge, Loop, Wix, or Squarespace.

  • You think in funnels. You understand activation curves, paywall psychology, trial design, and the difference between credit-based, feature-gated, and seat-based pricing, and you have opinions on which works where.

  • You build with AI. You use Claude or equivalent to automate recurring tasks, and can explain how you set it up to help you ship faster.

  • You're data-fluent. Comfortable with SQL and an analytics platform like Amplitude or Mixpanel; you build and interpret your own funnel without waiting for a data scientist, and you've shipped a high volume of A/B tests personally in the last 12 months.

  • You thrive in small teams with high autonomy. You can ship without being managed, and can operate in a fully remote, async-first environment that offers no scaffolding around you.

Nice to have: experience on both web and mobile funnels; familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem (app store, connect flows, merchant personas) or a comparable e-commerce platform; entrepreneurial experience (you've started, built, or run something).

If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still apply. We'd love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

We're committed to enabling everyone to feel included and valued at work. We believe our company and culture are strongest when composed of diverse experiences and backgrounds.

That's also why we have flexible working hours, trust people to work in a hybrid environment, and extended parental leave.

All qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to age, color, family, gender identity, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.

    We’re Seeking

    • Strong HR foundation: Approximately 8+ years of HR experience, including meaningful experience partnering directly with managers in fast-paced, high-growth, or complex international environments as a Senior HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.

    • French employee relations experience: Practical experience working with French employment practices and employee representative bodies. Direct experience establishing, supporting, or working closely with a CSE, works council, or comparable employee representative structure is highly valued.

    • Experience with employee representative processes: Familiarity with employee elections, consultation processes, employee representative communications, and the governance and documentation associated with formal employee representation.

    • Execution-oriented partnership: Comfortable owning detailed, time-sensitive workstreams and coordinating across multiple stakeholders while maintaining sound judgment and strong follow-through.

    • Strong project management: Able to take complex, multi-stage employee-representative processes and translate them into clear milestones, owners, dependencies, communications, and operating processes.

    • Manager coaching capability: Able to guide managers through performance conversations, organizational changes, and employee relations issues with clarity and confidence.

    • Operational strength: Brings structure, organization, and discipline to people processes and can build repeatable practices as the organization scales.

    • Good judgment under pressure: Balances empathy, employee experience, business needs, and appropriate risk management while handling sensitive matters with discretion.

    • High integrity: Trusted, fair, principled, and comfortable operating in an environment where confidentiality and sound judgment are essential.

    • Language capability: Professional fluency in French and English is strongly preferred given the role’s responsibility for supporting employee relations and representative processes in France.

    Location: France

    🌀 The Company

Founded in 2022, Filigran is a global cybersecurity company on a mission to empower defense teams to be proactive through open-source solutions that uncover threats and drive action.

Filigran stands out in the cybersecurity ecosystem through its open-source, AI-powered and threat-informed approach to Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). Our eXtended Threat Management (XTM) platform brings together threat intelligence, exposure validation and cyber risk reduction, enabling organizations to better understand their threat landscape and take action.

At the heart of Filigran is our open-source approach. Our vision is to unite defenders into a global community to make security more open, resilient and collaborative.

As Filigran continues to scale globally, we are building the organization, infrastructure and capabilities needed for our next stage of growth. How we scale matters just as much as how fast we scale: our CORE values: Cohesion, Openness, Responsibility and Equity shape how we work together, make decisions and build for the future.

    🎯 The Role

As Head of Financial Controller, you will own the full accounting function across Filigran's entities, including revenue recognition, consolidation, monthly and year-end close, and internal controls. You will act as the finance function's technical backbone building the infrastructure, controls, and processes needed to support a fast-scaling, multi-entity, international organization.

You will report directly to the VP of Finance. The team is small so this role demands both strategic ownership and significant hands-on execution.

    💼 Your Responsibilities

    General Accounting Operations

    • Own the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial transactions across Filigran entities

    • Continuously improve a scalable monthly/quarterly close process

    • Ensure revenue recognition is correctly applied and documented

    Multi-Entity Oversight

    • Lead consolidation across Filigran's growing international entity structure (including new entity set-ups as the company expands)

    • Partner with the VP of Finance on transfer pricing, inter company transactions, and cross-border compliance matters

    Controls, Risk & Governance

    • Perform ongoing gap analyses of accounting processes and proactively design and implement internal controls and policies

    • Manage the yearly financial audit end-to-end, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors

    • Own the relationship with the external accounting firm, holding them to a high standard of accuracy and responsiveness

    Systems & Scalability

    • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows

    • Build documentation that make the accounting function auditable and transferable

    Leadership & Cross-Functional Support

    • Act as a thought partner to the VP of Finance on technical accounting matters and process design

    • Manage a current team of 3 general accountants.

    • Grow the team to help support scalability and growth.

    • Support ad hoc business requests, including finance topics adjacent to accounting (e.g., payroll coordination)

    🔎 Preferred Experience

    • 10+ years in accounting roles, including senior/lead or controller-level experience

    • Strong knowledge of French accounting standards; exposure to multi-GAAP/consolidation environments is a strong plus

    • Proven ability to build processes and internal controls from scratch in a fast-growing or scaling environment

    • Comfortable operating with high autonomy and ambiguity; adapts quickly to change

    • Prior people management experience

🌱 Why Join Filigran? More than just a job.

We are a fast-growing, global and remote-first company, and we believe the best work combines purpose, impact and innovation. ⭐ Be part of something bigger

We believe we do work that matters. Our open-source approach means that work extends beyond Filigran. You’re contributing to technology and ideas that strengthen a global community of defenders and help make cybersecurity more open and collaborative.
