About the Role
Checkout.com is on a mission to transform the shopping experience for millions of consumers. As a senior individual contributor in mobile, you’ll help design and build the products we put in the hands of our end users.
Working hand-in-hand with our engineering team and product leaders, you’ll be crafting high-performance, user-friendly experiences, which operate at scale. Your role will extend beyond writing code - you’ll define architecture, lead technical discovery, and help us build the foundations that underpin our consumer offering.
What you’ll be doing
Architecting and building the mobile experiences that are used directly by millions of consumers around the world.
Owning feature development end-to-end, from discovery through to development, and monitoring through to maintenance.
Working closely with backend teams to ensure the underlying systems we build are aligned to support our mobile product evolution.
Championing best practices across the technical domain (testing, monitoring, release strategy, etc) to strengthen our foundations as we build our products.
Mentoring peers, reviewing code, and contributing to the long-term technical vision for mobile development at Checkout.com.
Should have
Solid background in mobile technologies (e.g. Native Android and Kotlin)
Proven track record building scalable and highly performant consumer experiences across the mobile domain
Experience building and maintaining mobile apps or SDKs used by a large, active, user base.
Passionate about developer experience - clear APIs, great docs, and reliability at scale.
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with product, design, and backend peers.
Nice to have
Previous experience in payments, fintech, or other security-sensitive domains.
Exposure to PCI compliance, tokenization, or secure data handling.

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐
You have:
3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field — or an equivalent track record that proves you know how to grow things
Excellent French and English communication skills, written and verbal
A proven ability to manage seller / customer portfolios and hit performance targets
Strong project management chops — you handle deadlines, competing priorities, and shifting goalposts with calm and creativity
A data-driven mindset: SQL and/or Tableau experience is a bonus, but a genuine readiness to level up your analytics skills is a must
Nice to have:

Deine Rolle bei June
Als Product Manager Grower Experience (m/w/d) verantwortest du die Produktentwicklung unserer Anwendung für Gärtner*innen. Du berichtest direkt an unseren CPO.
Deine Nutzer sind Gartenbaubetriebe, deren Bedürfnisse Du durch enge Zusammenarbeit mit diesen und weiteren Experten der Branche kennenlernst. Du entwickelst daraus technische Lösungen und Standards für die Branche.
Du definierst relevante KPIs für deinen Produktbereich und misst den Erfolg deiner Arbeit konsequent an ihnen.
Anforderungen
Was du mitbringst
Mindestens 4–5 Jahre Erfahrung im Produktmanagement von B2B-Softwareprodukten.
Erfahrung im eigenständigen Führen von User Interviews, Bereitschaft zu unregelmäßigen Vor-Ort-Besuchen bei Gärtner*innen. (Führerschein erforderlich)
Kenntnisse gängiger Tracking- und Analytics-Tools.
Exzellente schriftliche Kommunikation (Roadmaps, PRDs).

Du verantwortest die Produktstrategie und -roadmap für den Bereich Grower Experience.
Du sprichst wöchentlich eigenständig mit unseren Gärtner*innen, baust Beziehungen zu ihnen auf und triffst die Betriebe in unregelmäßigen Abständen auch vor Ort.
Du arbeitest eng mit Design und Engineering zusammen, leitest gemeinsam mit Design User Interviews und übersetzt die daraus gewonnenen Erkenntnisse in konkrete Produktentscheidungen, während Du das Team fachlich durch den gesamten Produktentwicklungsprozess führst.
Du verstehst und artikulierst den Business Value deiner Produktentscheidungen, u. a. über KPI-Frameworks, und nutzt Tracking- und Analytics-Daten, um Annahmen zu validieren und Produktentscheidungen datenbasiert zu treffen.
Du kommunizierst Roadmaps, PRDs und Produktentscheidungen klar und überzeugend – schriftlich wie mündlich.

Gemeinsam mit Design und Engineering übernehmt ihr Verantwortung für den Erfolg eures Produktbereichs und arbeitet kontinuierlich daran, ihn zu verbessern.
Wir sprechen regelmäßig mit unseren Kunden, besuchen sie vor Ort und testen unsere Lösungen gemeinsam mit ihnen. Wir glauben, dass gute Produktentscheidungen nur entstehen, wenn man die Probleme der Nutzer wirklich versteht.
